Vecta Machine Hurley Children’s Hospital
Contributions from DQ® fans and franchisees provided a generous gift that allowed Hurley Children’s Hospital in Flint, Michigan, to purchase DVD players and movies for children's rooms. This funding also helped buy a Vecta® multi-sensory machine that lets kids calm and comfort themselves. The Vecta provides music, a bubble tower, lights and many other features that sick or injured kids can use during stressful moments. This specialized tool is especially valuable when administering care to children with special needs.
Technology Upgrades: Teen Cancer Center Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
Contributions from DQ® fans and franchisees helped fund more than $150,000 in upgrades to the technology services in the MACC Fund Cancer Center within Children’s Hospital of WI.
