Giving Back

The DQ® system believes in giving back to the communities in which we live, work and do business. DQ franchisees and International Dairy Queen give back through philanthropic partnerships with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and our DQ Cares corporate partners. These partnerships support children’s health, youth mentorship and career training, hunger relief, and athletic, health and leadership programs for people with intellectual disabilities.

Franchisees Raising Critical Funds

Independently owned and operated DQ® restaurants have raised over $158 million for local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® over the course of 37 years. Money raised by these restaurants stays in the local community to help our youngest fans and their families while they are treated at CMN Hospitals. Visit your local DQ® restaurant during one of our various fundraisers to raise money for kids in your community.

Nearly all DQ® restaurants are independently owned and operated. When these independent owners raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,® all funds raised stay in the local community. Every time you treat yourself to a Blizzard® Treat on Miracle Treat Day or round Up your order, you help children in your community.
