You could be our next franchisee!
Our basic requirements for new franchisees include a review of your background, work experience and financial capabilities. In general, we are looking for:
- Prior retail or foodservice ownership or management experience
- A proposed management plan
- The financial resources necessary to develop and operate the restaurant
- An appreciation of and passion for building the DQ brand!

Financial Requirements
A new franchisee must have a net worth of at least $750,000, with liquid assets of at least $400,000. Of that, a minimum of $300,000 must be available to inject as cash equity. The liquid asset requirements can be adjusted slightly if the development involves leased premises. The fee structure for other costs as an owner/operator of a DQ Grill & Chill restaurant include:
| Initial Franchise Fee: | $35,000 |
| Ongoing Royalties: | 4% of sales |
| Ongoing Sales Promotion Fee: | 5-6% of sales |
The term of a DQ Grill & Chill restaurant is 20 years with a 10-year renewal option.
