Pre-Opening Support

Site Selection
As you know, site selection is critical to your restaurant's success. At Dairy Queen, our area managers assist in finding the best locations in the market.  Whether you are opening a DQ Grill & Chill® or a DQ and Orange Julius® store you can rest assured that we will be there to assist you along the way.

Equipment/Sourcing Support Services
No franchisor has more experience purchasing, maintaining, and sourcing state of the art restaurant equipment than IDQ. Our import/export specialists help you source all your needs. Additionally our Research and Development team is constantly exploring new opportunities for local sourcing.

Training
Our commitment to training is so strong; training tuition for two people is included in your franchise fee. Our goal is to equip you with all the knowledge you need to successfully operate your restaurant. DQ and Orange Julius store franchisees or operators spend 10 to 14 days training with us at the home office, and/or existing restaurants; Grill & Chill operators train in a G&C restaurant for 3 weeks in Edina, MN.

Management
We will work with you to establish the right structure to develop and expand in your market.  The Infrsturcture will be supported by operational managers, marketing, and research and development as well.
